Primary & Disowned Selves:
An Online Voice Dialogue Workshop
With Tamara Yates & Jogen Salzberg

Are you hungry for more aliveness in your life?

Are you tired of living out the same old patterns?

Or perhaps you are a therapist, coach, or practitioner who wants to help clients access deeper vitality and break free from stuck dynamics?

Join facilitators Tamara Yates and Jogen Adam Salzberg for a transformative weekend exploring the depth of Voice Dialogue parts-work.

What Is Voice Dialogue?

Voice Dialogue is a psychospiritual parts-work modality—sharing much in common with Internal Family Systems (IFS)—that helps you relate consciously to your primary selves.

Your primary selves are the parts of you that, for better and worse, run the show of your daily life. By becoming aware of these dominant parts and loosening your identification with them, you create space to welcome your disowned selves—the shadow parts of you (positive and negative) waiting to be integrated.

Through this practice, you can experience:

  • Greater Freedom & Wholeness: Move beyond rigid patterns and habitual responses.

  • Expanded Expression: Increase your personality’s breadth, emotional fluidity, and flexibility across all areas of life.

  • Deeper Awareness: Build a grounded, conscious connection to all parts of yourself.what to Expect during the weekend

About The Facilitators

Jogen Salzberg is an ordained Zen Buddhist teacher with 20 years teaching experience and 16 years of full time residential practice and study at Great Vow Zen Monastery. He began practicing Voice Dialogue in 2003 with Hogen Bays, Roshi, and Jan Chozen Bays, Roshi, both of whom studied directly with Hal and Sidra Stone. He has done Voice Dialogue facilitators training with J’aime Ona Pangaia, Hogen Bays, Roshi and completed a 175 hour facilitators training with Miriam Dyak and Cassandra Cosme De Pree of the Voice Dialogue Institute. In addition to Voice Dialogue, Jogen has trained in Process Work, Dzogchen and the ParaTheatre medium of Antero Alli.

Tamara Yates, MA is a Professional Counselor Associate who has been facilitating Voice Dialogue for over a decade. Her background in the modality includes a two-year Transformational Arts Program with J'aime ona Pangaia, 100 supervised sessions, and a year-long Voice Dialogue Facilitator Training with Miriam Dyak and Cassandra Cosme de Pree—where she returned in 2022 to assist with the training.

Tamara holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and practices therapy under the supervision of Douglas Chapman, LPC, CMHC, CADC III. She delights in helping clients build a conscious, compassionate relationship with their primary selves—softening their automatic hold and creating the space for their disowned selves to emerge.
